A homage to the Day of the Dead and Frida Khalo. Handmade with skull howlite stone and pink fimo rose flowers***
Day of the Dead (Spanish: Dí de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honouring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favourite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts.
I have created these earrings with inspiration from the energy and vibrancy of this holiday. Enjoy!
